Ji An was so paralyzed by shock because of this and the way she was accused and treated by the Choi parents that she was unable to express herself as she intended to do. Moreover, they were not even prepared to hear her out!

Top Rating of 36.0% “My Golden Life” 2017.11.05 — 2 Comments

  1. Episode 20 ,that has hit 36.0% rating, was a very sad one, especially that Jian has been accused of being guilty for hiding her real identity. Both Mr. and Mrs Choi, even Jian’s sister, Jisoo, have tried to tear her to pieces for a guilt she was not guilty. “Suspicion always haunts the guilty minds.”[W. Shakespeare]. These guilty minds accused her , only on their suspicion, making Jian from an innocent person into a guilty one. Instead of listening Jian’s arguments that could prove her innocence, they have built their accusation against her on a great error. “It is better that ten guilty escape, than one innocent suffer.”[W. Blackstone]
And except that I was upset, I was very sorry for Jian’s fate.
I’m expecting episode 21 to find out how Jian can cope with her unfortunate life.

    • I felt the same way Stefi! After the finish of episode 19 I was really doubting if I would have the strength to watch episode 20 as I knew Ji An would be tortured to the max!

Episode 21 will be a sad one too. Remembering the hate in Ji Soo’s eyes slapping Ji An only would not satisfy her. Considering Ji An’s weak condition after having to cope with the attacks of firstly Do Kyung and then the Choi parents in a short amount of time, I don’t know how she will be able to deal with this. The sauna ladies were already worried about Ji An. Will Ji Soo’s behavior be the so called last drop and cause Ji An to fully collapse in front of Ji Soo’s eyes? Then Ji An will have to be taken to the hospital I’m afraid. 🙁
