Birthday Celebration in Buyeo 2017.04.01-03 — 9 Comments

  1. “A birth-date is a reminder to celebrate the life as well as to update the life.”[A. Kalantri]
And PSH’s invitation for all his fans to celebrate his 39th birthday, in April in Busan, is the most important event of the year for him and his fans
For those who will attend the event in person, and even for us, like Wilma and me, who wil celebrate him from far apart.

    • For some reason you had Busan in your head, but the celebration will be in Buyeo PSH’s hometown, of course! Maybe you know something, I don’t know Stefi? ๐Ÿ˜›

  2. PSH looks thinner in the photos above, eh? His face seems to be a bit smaller. Anyway, I find it hard to believe that he is going to be 39 soon. Any news about his next drama project, Wilma?

I want to be positive but I can’t help feeling that things aren’t going smoothly as we want it to for PSH, Wilma. His movie is delayed screening and now his Valentine event is postponed.

I pray hope that everything will go smoothly for PSH.

    • No, nothing new on drama front D Lee. The event has been postponed because it was better for the drama preparations. So there is a new drama coming up, but we have to wait for the news when exactly and which drama! Sometimes unexpected adjustments have to be made, but in the end everything will be fine! ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. I pray hope everything will turn out fine for PSH. By the way, I notice that some fans end their remarks with ‘ Fighting’. What does it mean? Seems rather odd to me to end one’s moral support with the word “Fighting”. Isn’t it odd to write our words of support for PSH by telling him PSH continue fighting ?

Perhaps you can enlighten me on this matter. Unless this word is like what the Chinese fans tell their stars ” Jia You”. Jia You means’strive on’ if I am not wrong. My understanding of Mandarin is rather limited. But I have heard of this Jia You term.

Anyhow, ‘strive on’ is a better way of encouraging our idol rather than using ‘fighting’.

Come to think of it, I reckon the term ‘fighting’ means to strive on. Don’t you think so?

    • “Fighting” is used as an encouragement D Lee. Wishing someone “Good Luck”, “Go on” and similar to that. I guess “Strive on” is meaning so too! So if you want to encourage PSH “Fighting” is the right ending of a comment or post!

  4. Gosh, is this ‘fighting’ term a Korean term?

Though ‘Fighting’ is the right ending of a comment or post as you mentioned above, I find it a bit’s hard to teach an old dog new tricks I am afraid.

Furthermore, it’s not appropriately used where semantics is involved.

  5. Thank you for explaining,Wilma. I feel quite foolish at times for pestering you with questions.

I am a PSH fan but an old-fashioned one I am afraid. I admire PSH’s acting skills and I am in awe of his nice masculine look ( without heavy make-up) and I would certainly encourage him in his endeavours but I kind of find it hard to use “Fighting” to encourage him. Ha..ha..

    • Yes, it is a Korean way of speaking D Lee! In Hangeul most of the time you will see it written like “ํ™”์ดํŒ…”! Some also write it like “ํŒŒ์ดํŒ…”!

Adapting to some new habits sometimes will keep your mind flexible D Lee! If you do,it will be easier every next time!

However, don’t do anything you don’t feel comfortable with yourself! ๐Ÿ˜€
