Many Chinese news media reported about Park Si Hoo being crowned “Male God of Korea”.
One of them referred to that voting for the poll “2014 Male Gods of Korea” organized by Contemporary Entertainment was officially closed at midnight April 26. Park Si Hoo known for his excellent dramas and solid performances was elected the current “Male God of Korea”.
Giving a flashback of when and how his career has started and developed since 2005. Park Si Hoo’s inborn aristocratic air was considered his biggest asset when he entered show business. The 2013 incident caused a big blow to his showbiz existence and almost ruined everything on which his career was painstakingly built. He courageously overcame all the turmoil and weathered this most difficult period because of his own positive attitude. Something no ordinary person is capable of.
Being elected “Korean Male God” is very good for Park Si Hoo to resume the pinnacle of his brilliance in the shortest possible time. It is a very important beginning and also the best support and encouragement for him! In addition the Special Edition of Park Si Hoo as the “Male God of Korea” can be ordered from Contemporary Entertainment’s official Taobao shop which is limited to 2,000 copies only. Deadline for ordering a copy: April 29 at 10 pm.

The MV below is very special to me. It keeps touching my heart again and again. It also gives a very good impression of Park Si Hoo’s role in Iljimae. Although he was second lead, his appearance added to the popularity of this historical drama. To me it will always be one of Park Si Hoo’s best dramas.

It was so exciting. Although Park Si Hoo was many votes ahead of his competitor at #2, Lee Jun Ki, we had to wait till midnight in China to be sure. Together we have made it come true. Park Si Hoo has won the voting for “Male God of Korea”! It has still officially to be confirmed, but I’ve made print screens. Park Si Hoo’s photo can be seen on both sides of the site since the voting has been closed. Can’t wait for the official media reports!

The interest in the voting contest regarding “Male God of Korea” makes it harder to vote. The site is responding more slowly.
At the moment Park Si Hoo is leading with 355,033 votes,
#2 Park Hae Jin has 279.010 votes, #3 Jang Geun Suk has
217,791 votes and #4 Lee Jun Ki has 207,556 votes. It will be exciting until the end (April 26, 2014).

It is important to keep voting for Park Si Hoo to the very end, because the list is changing every second. So in order to keep the ranking as it is now, Park Si Hoo’s fans can’t sit back. Personally, I expect Saturday, the last day of this poll, to be a very hectic one. Exciting until the end!
I want to encourage all Park Si Hoo’s domestic and international fans to keep voting 24/7 until this poll has ended. We can do this, because we are living in different time zones. Fighting!

The ferry disaster of last week in South Korea is still affecting the lives of many Korean families. Although many bodies are being recovered now, the uncertainty about many victims is still there. Everyone is praying and a yellow ribbon of hope is spread over the social networks. Park Si Hoo is supporting this initiative as well.
Translation of his tweet left by HOO_Factory:
Sent with a sincere heart.
The words under the ribbon say:
One small movement, a great miracle….

“Family Honor” is by far the most favorite drama of many
Park Si Hoo’s fans. Personally, I didn’t like Lee Kang Suk in the first part, although his love and care for his younger sister have always been obvious. It is what kept me watching until the end. This MV gives a good impression of the interaction between Lee Kang Suk and
Han Dan Ah. The background song is “Daisy” by Alex Chu.

Though Easter is not a national holiday in Korea, the Christian Koreans will surely celebrate it. However, because of the recent tragedy with the sunken ferry Sewol all Korean people will be concerned with the families of the victims. Latest news is that it will take one to two months to get all bodies out of the sunken ferry because of the strong currents and poor visibility under water. As the divers didn’t hear any sound coming out of the ferry, it is almost certain there are no survivors left. This is really a tough time for all families involved.
Still I want to wish everyone a happy and blessed Easter.
The families of the victims I wish a lot of strenght in this sorrowful time.
