Flame of Inspiration

From the moment Park Si Hoo has entered into my life, he has been my Flame of Inspiration. He is the reason I started to study the Korean language. He has been the flame of inspiration for the start of a bigger purpose. I don’t know yet where this bigger purpose will lead to, but I do know I have to continue. Learning the Korean language isn’t easy for me. Especially not, because I want to study it as it should be with all the grammar and daily pitfalls, which are many for me. Some say Korean is an easy to learn language. To me its difficulty level is as high as learning Dutch for a foreigner. I am Dutch and I am managing my native language well. So it may take a lifetime, but one day my Korean will be of the same level as my Dutch. I do not settle for less. A perfectionist? Yes, I am in the core of my heart!

Park Si Hoo inspired me to set up this website for him with the use of WordPress which software I have uploaded on my own domain with the help of my provider. It was a bigger step to create a space in Dutch for him on a Dutch platform. When I have become more skilled in creating my own websites, I may set up one in Dutch to reach a larger audience. The Dutch platform has its limitations which I am well aware of.

Another area I want to develop myself in is creating my own MVs dedicated to Park Si Hoo. I joined a film club where we do our own filming and editing. I need practicing more to get familiar with the editing program.

Park Si Hoo has also encouraged me to interact with other Park Si Hoo fans. These interactions and reading posts of other Park Si Hoo sisters can be a source of ideas for new posts. Park si Hoo’s Flame of Inspiration is lighting up many other flames of inspiration among his sisterhood!

While I was reading “Home” on parksihoossi.com, “I will follow him” popped up in my head. “Him” is Park Si Hoo, of course! I knew this song from the movie “Sister Act”, but I did some more research on YouTube, because I wanted to know why this song title popped up in my head and
what its message was for me. So I found the original by Peggy March who debuted this song in 1963 at the age of 15 and became a world number One hit.

This song expresses very well how I feel when it comes to Park Si Hoo.

“I love him, I love him, I love him
And where he goes I’ll follow, I’ll follow, I’ll follow

I will follow him, follow him wherever he may go
There isn’t an ocean too deep
A mountain so high it can keep me away
I must follow him, ever since he touched my hand I knew
That near him I always must be
And nothing can keep him from me
He is my destiny

I love him, I love him, I love him
And where he goes I’ll follow, I’ll follow, I’ll follow
He’ll always be my true love, my true love, my true love
From now until forever, forever, forever

I will follow him, follow him wherever he may go
There isn’t an ocean too deep
A mountain so high it can keep, keep me away
Away from my love

I love him, I love him, I love him
And where he goes I’ll follow, I’ll follow, I’ll follow
He’ll always be my true love, my true love, my true love
From now until forever, forever, forever

I will follow him, follow him wherever he may go
There isn’t an ocean too deep
A mountain so high it can keep, keep me away
Away from my love

Do-do do-do-do do-do-do and where he goes
I’ll follow, I’ll follow, I’ll follow
I know I’ll always love him”

At the same time this song also points out the bond between Park Si Hoo and his Sisterhood! We are all connected by a deep love that cannot be broken. A love that makes the heart sing and sing again. Love and Happiness all over the world!

After 50 years Peggy March still admires this song and she is admired by her fans.
Park Si Hoo once said his dream is to be a lifelong actor. Isn’t Peggy March the perfect flame of inspiration for this dream? A dream that can be fulfilled and we all wish to see come true for Park Si Hoo?
