OCN has announced that Jo Sung Ha has been cast for the upcoming drama “Neighborhood Hero”. Jo Sung Ha, known as “Middle-aged Flower Actor”, will play the role of Im Tae Ho, a police officer.
Park Si Hoo and Jo Sung Ha together in “Neighborhood Hero” may raise expectations.
Jo Sung Ha started his acting career in 1996 and is best known for his supporting roles in “The Yellow Sea” (Korean thriller, 2010), “Helpless” (psychological mystery/thriller, 2012) and “Korean
Peninsula” (political/action TV series, 2012).
In 2011 Jo Sung Ha received the Award for Best Supporting Actor (The Yellow Sea) at 48th Grand Bell Awards. In 2012 he received the Excellence Award, Actor in a Film (Helpless) at
20th Korean Culture and Entertainment Awards as well as the
IT Star Award at 16th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival. Finally, in 2013 Jo Sung Ha received the Excellence Award, Actor in a Serial Drama (Wang’s Family) at KBS Drama Awards.
Two Award-winning actors in one drama may surely raise expectations.^^ Can’t wait to watch them together in “Neighborhood Hero” early 2016!
